I am a large grey tabby with short hair.
My name is George but I like to call myself King George because I am so large and regal! I am over 14 pounds! Even though I am a king, I still love to play and cuddle like a prince. I especially like playing with string toys and I also enjoy cuddling with my people and even other cats.
My foster mom says I am shy when I meet someone new but if you take a chance on me, I will lavish you with love and affection after not too long because I am so grateful to kind people who take good care of me. If you let me, I will even climb into your lap several times a day and go to sleep there.
My foster mom also says I am a very gentle boy who can be easily picked up, and that I even behave well at the vet's office. She hopes I am not overlooked because I'm no longer kitten-aged. I may be a little older, but most importantly, I still have a lot of love to offer the world!

I had a warm home indoors once but through no fault of my own, I ended up homeless and lived outside for several months. In December of 2019, my foster mom heard about my situation and brought me indoors where it is warm and cozy. At first, I hid from her under the bed but within a few days I realized it is a friendly place here and I started soaking up all the attention I could get. Now I cuddle with her several times a day and also enjoy playing with, cuddling with, and even grooming her own two cats.
I am in good health except for needing to lose a little bit of weight. I would love a forever home where someone could wave around a string toy for me several times a week so that I could have fun and get some exercise at the same time!
