All About Me

Joy is a petite torti-tabby cat with beautiful markings. Her fur is silky soft--so lovely to pet! She has big feet for her size, which is so adorable!

Joy is taking to the kept-kitt life quite nicely after a rough life on the streets. She is adapting to indoor kitty life really well - she even took to the litter box right away and has had perfect attendance in that department!! She is now fully integrated with the resident animals (2 adult cats, 2 senior dogs) and learning her place within this pack. She's making up for lost time with a new playful kitten-like lease on life. She would love to be adopted to a household with another adult cat who likes to run and play! When she's ready to settle she loves to be near the people - on a lap or nearby. She also loves the cat tree by the window or a dark nook in which to tuck herself away for a longer cat nap. Recently she discovered she can use the cat door out onto the fully-screened porch and is loving some freedom to get some fresh air on her own terms! Joy is still a little shy around new people, but with a quiet introduction and a little time, she warms up and will give you the same loving head-butts and purrs that her foster family has grown to love.
