Mesa is an active and incredibly smart girl who wants nothing more than to make you love and pet her.

She is affectionate yet independent, happy to spend hours entertaining herself with squirrel videos and cat toys, yet ready to turn into a purring, loving kneading machine as soon as the head scratches begin. While she’s a little shy around large rambunctious dogs, she would be super happy to have other friendly and small-to-midsize animals to play with. She loves playing with her brother Elm, and always tries to get the resident senior cat to love her (it hasn’t worked yet, but this sweet girl won’t give up). Her guilty pleasures include chasing her wand and laser toys (and your feet under the blankets), binge-watching Netflix with her humans, making herself the center of your world, and “helping” her humans make the bed.
