Captain and his siblings (Zelda and Truman) came to IAR as 3-week-old kittens along with their mom, Cora. All 3 kittens are exceptionally affectionate and love playing with and cuddling with people. They like my adult cats, play well with children, and are conscientious litter box users. Like his mom, Captain is a polydactyl cat-- the extra toe on each foot only enhances his charm, which is plentiful. Captain's unique feet match his unique personality—multiple friends have fallen in love with him at first visit and wanted to take him home. He loves attention and begins purring whenever he sees an opportunity for a back scratch. In spite of his boundless energy, he's always in the mood to be picked up and cuddled like a teddy bear. Captain loves wrestling with his sister, and his favorite attack move is leaping through the air for a surprise landing. He also loves "helping" me sweep his playroom, often catching a ride on the broom or my back.
