Klaus is playful and friendly, a very athletic cat! He and his sister Violet are best friends. Klaus is the bolder of the two--he will come right up to you to see what fun game you have to play, and if you happen to be on the other side of a baby gate, no problem, he will climb it—he is an agile, adventurous cat! He also has a wonderful, cuddly mellow side--he loves to be held and is just happy to be near you. He has met one friendly dog--it went well! He is truly enthusiastic about meeting other cats (especially those on the other side of his door). If introduced gently to the right pet, Klaus could adapt to any household. Klaus would love to be adopted with his sister Violet, especially while he is less than 6 months old.

Violet and Klaus were with their mother until they were approximately 5 1/2 weeks old, when they were rescued from their community setting and brought into the foster program. They grew up used to people and are incredibly tame and friendly. Though named after the famed Baudelaire orphans in Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events (their sister Sonny has already been adopted), these kittens have actually been rather fortunate so far—if you adopt one of them, they could be even luckier!
