Maya is a very sweet and gentle girl. Her favorite toy is a ball with a bell inside that she loves to bat all over the floor. She can be a little timid at first with people, but once she meets and gets to know you, her favorite activity is curling up in your lap, purring, and sleeping, in no particular order. Maya would do best in a calm environment without young children.

History
Maya was found extremely skinny on a construction site. A worker took her home to his young children where she was chased and taunted, and almost killed by two dogs. Maya has received her vaccines, deworming medication, and has been microchipped. She has tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV, and has been spayed.
