All About Me

A very pretty Tux!

Skittles always was friendly to her rescuers but it has taken loving care to help her get over the trauma of her previous life on the streets. As she discovers that she is in a place where she will always have a good meal and kind hands, her bouts of startling at anything unexpected have diminished greatly. <p>She has grown into a kind and confident cat who will come sit beside you for pets and even roll over for tummy rubs. She still would prefer to jump up of her own accord and not be picked up or restrained - a lady has to maintain her dignity after all! Skittles is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, FIV/FLK negative, and ready to move on to the happily ever after home of her own part of her fairy tale.

History

Skittles was found in the parking lot of a major grocery store. As she crouched under a car we thought she was a kitten but after we were able to catch her we realized that she was an adult cat. A trip to the vet confirmed that she was indeed a mature lady who had produced many, many litters of kittens. She was so starved and thin that the vet was afraid she would not be able to recover from the debilitated state she had reached. However, with excellent vet support and time in foster care she has recovered fully.

I’m at the pet store!

Skittles is staying at Petco South Square right now. You can visit her any time the store is open.
