All About Me

Eleanor is a petite soft-gray tabby cat with amazing aqua-green eyes. She has very short sleek fur - her topside is lovely gray and silver stripes and spots, and underside is white with little gray tabby spots. She is adorable.

Eleanor is a very small cat with a HUGE heart and a laid-back attitude. She has a gentle, sweet spirit and is exceptionally docile for such a young cat. She has totally charmed each of her temporary foster parents, and now her current foster Mom. Her favorite activity is to get in someone's lap, and once there to snuggle as close as possible. She slowly and gently works her way up towards the neck to be even closer.

When she was first rescued, she was so hungry for affection that her rescuer had to put her in a crate to get far enough away to take her picture! She is very easy to handle, and likes to be picked up and even held like a baby. She is quite polite to new cats that she meets, and plays very nicely with other kitties.

Eleanor HATES being alone, and is looking for a home with a gentle cat companion or a stay-at-home person. We haven't seen her with kids, but she is so gentle that we think she would be great with well-behaved children and dogs. Eleanor has tested negative for FELV/FIV, is spayed, and is so ready to find her forever family!

History

Eleanor wandered up to a lady's home, begging to be rescued. Once IAR volunteers met her, we immediately made a space for this wonderful kitty. She is so happy to be safe inside and have people to shower with affection.

I’m at the pet store!

Eleanor is staying at right now. You can visit her any time the store is open.
