All About Me

Skylah is a stunning Tortie Point Siamese kitten with crystal clear blue eyes and dense, soft cream-colored fur. Skyla's tail, ears and toes are seal brown. On her front toes and ears, there are the cutest little cream colored and orange spots- her tortie point markings are an unusual Siamese coloration pattern.

Skylah's personality is exactly what we would expect in a Siamese kitten with a little Tortoiseshell sprinkled in. Confident, self-assured, affectionate, energetic little minx. She adores other cats, and will happily welcome most newcomers to her foster cat family. She greets her human friends with purrs and chortles, and once she figures out that you are OK, Skylah is in your lap between making laps around the room. She still gets startled by loud noises and quick motions, which is surely carried over from fending for herself outside. However this has diminished every day that she is safe inside and only worrying about which toy to choose. Skylah is so social with other cats that she will require a home with a young cat companion. She is very bonded to Tigger in her foster home and they make a very nice pair. She would blossom in a home with a gentle human and a little patience- we don't necessarily recommend a busy household with dogs and young kids for this kitten, although it is possible that she would be fine with all that. Skylah is healthy, vaccinated, neutered, litter-trained and ready for adoption.

Skylah appeared as a lone kitten at a restaurant in South Durham where an IAR volunteer feeds a group of cats. She had clearly been handled by people as she very quickly purred and enjoyed being handled, but seems to have been on her own for a while. She was very happy to join a foster home with other kitten friends.

I’m at the pet store!

Skylah is staying at right now. You can visit her any time the store is open.
