Moonshine has a sleek, fine soft coat that gleams with health.
Moonshine is a scamp as his name might indicate. When I first found him and his litter mates they were just beginning to wobble about. Moonshine was the shakiest when I got him home. He walked like he had too much "shine" to drink and was trying to control those shaky legs and amble home. Additionally, when we first saw him he had what appeared to be a "white lightening" strike across his little face - kind of Harry Potter like. It has since become a scattering of white hairs that is not as distinct as he has grown. But the whole white lightening and moonshine walk just seemed to fit his tough, rambunctious, yet loving little personality. So the name has stuck or "struck" as one might say.
He was found with his brother and sister in a local WalMart garden center at around 4 weeks. They were just beginning to walk around on wobbly legs when I found them. I caught the mother in a humane trap, but one of the employees gave her away. Therefore the kittens were hand fed for several weeks and are very comfortable with people.
Moonshine is staying at Petco South Square right now. You can visit him any time the store is open.
