Chiclet is a lovely little gray tabby girl with plush fur that is very soft for petting. She has the cutest little round face which gives her a kitten-like appearance, or perhaps like a little elf. She is pint-sized and ultra-cute! She is almost identical to her brown tabby sister, Bubbles, except for the color.
Chiclet is a very dear, low-key girl who will make a great companion. She is very bonded to her sister Bubbles, and usually hangs back to let her bolder sister make sure all is well before joining in the action. The two of them greet you at the door for pets, and chatter away while you are making time to pet them (and while their meals are being prepared!). These are a pair of undemanding kitties who would enjoy a quiet life where they can admire the outdoors from the inside. Although she is less than one year old, Chiclet is very polite in her play, and nicely uses her cat tree and scratching pads. Her ideal situation would be a rather quiet household with her sister for a companion, and one or two gentle people to shower then with love.
Chiclet was rescued from a homeless camp in Durham, where people were feeding a group of cats using food they were able to scavenge from a grocery store dumpster. Needless to say, she is very grateful for having a warm place to live, and regular kitty food to eat! And it has been rewarding to watch her discover the joy of cat toys.
