All About Me

Skeeter is a sleek brown tabby with white paws and belly. His foster mom can't resist Skeeter's brown toe beans nestled into his fuzzy white paws. See more pictures of Skeeter at http://picasaweb.google.com/IAR.Pictures/Skeeter#.

Skeeter is an incredibly gentle kitten. He has a way of sidling up to his foster mom when she's not paying attention so that before she even realizes he's there, he is snugged up tight to her leg and has arranged things so that her hand is stroking his stretched out belly. He weaves between her legs when she gets home from work, claims her lap during an evening in front of the tv, and curls up in her armpit at night. He is equally lovely with other cats and kittens, and makes new friends in the blink of an eye.

History

Skeeter was found hanging out at one of the Biology buildings at UNC. His gentle and purry nature makes us think that he spent his first months being cuddled by humans. The time he spent outside at UNC made him a bit nervous of the weird noises we make indoors, but he is already acting pretty comfortable in his foster home. In just the 2 weeks after we found him, he's decided that this place must be heaven, with all the petting, cuddling, yummy food, and kitten wrestling that he could desire.
