Markie is an adorable, petite tortoiseshell kitten. She is slender and elegant and looks like a lioness when she stalks around her foster parents'apartment

Markie is an incredibly sweet and curious kitten. She loves to sit in sunshiney windowsills and to hide in dark places under furniture. She loves listening to music (which consistently makes her fall asleep) and watches movies with rapt attention. At night, she sleeps at the foot of her foster parents' bed to protect them like a guard dog. She loves playing with her catnip mouse, and with her foster brother Morgan. She was a little shy when she first moved into her foster home, but quickly warmed up and really became part of the family. She always wants to be part of the action--she'll help you work at your desk, cook dinner, read, etc. She loves to cuddle and to weave in and out of people's legs when they're standing up--she purrs in both instances. Markie tends to get very sleepy at adoption events, which is adorable, but doesn't fairly represent her playful side.
