All About Me

In the photos, Happy appears to be a standard tuxedo boy, but in person you can see it is with an unusual twist. His sleek black fur overlies a dense gray under coat, particularly around his neck, where he loves to be scratched. So he is really a black on gray/black tabby, of the bull's eye variety. He appears quite dapper and elegant with his white bib and mitts. His markings are nicely matched to his sister Laurel and brother Hardy, and they have matching gloves and stockings and a black medallion on their white chests.

Happy is a very dear boy. He is the ring leader of his kitten pack, and is first to check things out for the rest. He is super friendly and up for petting at the drop of a hat. He and his brother Hugs were briefly adopted and totally won the hearts of their family- all parties were heartbroken when allergies in the family lead to the cats being returned. He won his new name due to his happy-go-lucky nature. He purrs and rubs around your ankles to get attention- he likes to lap sit briefly between games, and give nose kisses. He promises to be a real lover boy when he grows up and he is GREAT with kids! Happy is entirely litter trained and ready for adoption with one of his sibs Laurel, Hardy, Jonetta Sunshine, or Hugs, or another young cat for companionship and to keep him out of trouble.

History

Happy's mom was rescued when she was "with kitten" by a good Samaritan, and she surprised him by having seven kittens in his kitchen. The kittens have grown up there with Mom watching over them until they came into rescue at about three months of age.
