All About Me

Laurel is a lovely dark tortoiseshell girl with generous splashes of cinnamon red across her fur, which is silky soft and shiny. She has a white vest, gloves, and stockings, as well as a few buff-colored toes. Laurel has a black medallion on her white chest and an adorable, slightly off-center blaze of white on her nose.

Laurel is a very sweet girl who loves to snuggle with a human or feline companion. She lives in a foster home with 2 adult cats and 3 young children, and she gets along well with everyone--she's never even had a cross word for the (occasionally rowdy) toddler!

She's a teenage kitty now, but she still loves to play with a bouncy ball or any ribbon or string. She's always ready to be a lap cat for the bookworm or a playmate for a more active human sibling.

Laurel has the run of her foster home, and she is healthy, spayed, and litter-trained--all ready to go to her forever home. Although she is accustomed to an active home, Laurel is an easy-going cat and could adapt to a quieter home as well. Laurel doesn't live with dogs, but she is friendly with an occasional dog guest, so we think she would do fine in a home with a gentle dog companion.

History

Laurel's mom was rescued by a good Samaritan, who took her inside, where she surprised him with seven kittens born in his kitchen. The kittens have grown up there with Mom watching over them until they came into rescue at about three months of age.
