Beautiful medium-haired, solid white cat with turquoise eyes and pink nose leather. She is slender and dainty, weighing about 7 pounds.

January is a very sweet, gentle, friendly cat. She always comes to greet you with a warm purr and lots of head-butts. She's not a lap cat, but loves to be around and sit right next to you. She'll often lie on her back and ask you to scratch her belly -- she loves pets and scratches and loves to play with 'da bird,' a fun feather toy we have. She's very gentle with our 15 month old toddler, letting him pet her and play with her. She's also interacted with our 2 cats briefly, as well as with other cats at the shelter, and she does not show any signs of aggression. She's an excellent indoor cat -- loves her scratch lounge (scratches it exclusively, never the furniture), is very quiet, with a soft 'murr' and cute little chirps, and is usually sleeping happily until we come to visit her. Then, she comes out purring and ready for petting and playing as soon as we enter the room. She is a very sweet, patient, gentle, loving cat, who loves to play but is also very easy to be around and very low-maintenance. She'd make an excellent companion to any number of households.
