Nova and her sisters, Star and Comet, were the offspring of a member of a large outdoor colony that was being fed by a kind lady. Their mother, Swirl, brought the three Heavenly Sisters to the lady's home to be fed, as it was time to wean them. The lady brought them in and socialized them. Many cats from this group have been adopted into loving forever homes and have lived long healthy lives.
