Harry is an orange tabby, who is slim, lithe and extremely athletic. His slanted hazel eye gives him an exotic look; he has a very noble profile.
Harry is the most loving kitty you may ever meet: he comes up to strangers, stretches his little paws up to be picked up and snuggles. He likes to be as close to his foster mother and other humans as he can; the first night he was rescued, he slept on his mommy's tummy! It is amazing that he is so loving and happy because little Harry has had such a hard life. He was born with eyelashes that grew inward and damaged his corneas. Finally, his right eye had to be removed. He has limited vision, but he loves to play. He is a great "hunter" of his animal toys and in spite of his disability, Harry runs around the house having a grand time, and looking for mischief. He's a little scamp! He plays for hours with Jessica, grooming each other and sleeping snuggled up together.
Harry and his brother Ben were rescued from a rural shelter where they would have been euthanized the next day. They were both born with eyelashes growing inward, which damaged their corneas. They had been in pain their whole lives until IAR was able to arrange surgery for them. After Ben was adopted, Harry has bonded with Jessica. They need to be adopted together.
Harry is staying at right now. You can visit him any time the store is open.
