All About Me

Gretchen is a slim and elegant female kitten with a soft shiny black coat and a very long tail. Due to her body style and personality, our veterinarian believes she is a Siamese mix. See more pictures of Gretchen here: http://picasaweb.google.com/juliehohm81/Gretchen#

Gretchen is a spunky diva that loves attention! She is affectionate with her foster parents and can be adorably pushy if she wants attention. If Gretchen feels you are neglecting her she will push her way into your lap, head butt you or reach out with her paw just to remind you she is there. This lively girl is fearless, very sweet, has loads of energy and is very vocal. Gretchen will tell you all about her day and will even growl if she captures a toy mouse to show what a good hunter she is- too cute! Gretchen likes to be the boss with other cats and sometimes takes a few days to feel comfortable around new animals so her new home will need to introduce her slowly to new friends. She would do best in a forever home that will give her plenty of attention and playtime or has another young cat that Gretchen can boss around. She is FIV/FeLV negative and litter box trained.

History

Gretchen was rescued from Robeson County shelter the day she was scheduled to be euthanized. She was malnourished and sick but her foster mom gave Gretchen the care and love she needed in order to become the loving, healthy kitten she is today. Gretchen currently lives in a foster home with dogs and other cats and they all get along well.

I’m at the pet store!

Gretchen is staying at right now. You can visit her any time the store is open.
