All About Me

Calista is a very dark tortie, with splashes of peach and white on her paws and chest, and lovely green eyes. A very tiny Calista was hit by a car, and most of her tail had to be amputated, but her waggly nubbin tail makes her absolutely irresistible.

The intense TLC Calista received after her nasty encounter with a car has turned her into an extremely cuddly kitty. She's a bit nervous of new experiences (wouldn't you be?!), but she looooves her humans. The way she plays with her toys and her kitty friends, you would never guess that she had a rough start in life. What a sweet and funny girl!

History

Calista was hit by a car at about 7 weeks old. She was rescued by a good samaritan, and rushed to New Hope Animal Hospital, where her leg and tail were repaired, thanks to the generosity of IAR volunteers and supporters. She is now happy and healthy in an IAR foster home, and should experience no lasting ill-effects from her injuries.
