All About Me

Erin is a stripy tabby, with tortie patches of orange, brown, and black striping.

Erin is cautious of strangers, but she LOOVES her mama. She wasn't brought inside with humans until she was 12 weeks old and, as a result, Erin takes a while to get used to new people and places. Erin chooses when and where she wants her affection, but when that time arrives, she is like a drunken lover. She weaves from side to side, leaning against her foster mom, much the way a Great Dane will, trying to maximize her pleasure in the experience. Her foster mom spends many an evening replying to email on her couch and Erin inevitably plasters herself to her foster mom's chest as if she wants to add her two cents to the email. Erin is fascinated by the mouse pointer on the screen and just doesn't understand why she can't ever catch it! Erin gets along great with other cats - most of the younger cats in her foster home quickly decide that she's their mommy. She's especially fond her brother Riley.

We held a special photo shoot on a cuddly Sunday afternoon to show off Erin and Riley's sweetheart personalities. Click here to see their pictures.

History

Erin and her siblings Roary and Riley were found outside with their mama by a past IAR adopter at 11-12 weeks old. We rescued them ASAP and went right to work helping them figure out that humans are nice. All 3 babies have lovely personalities, but it will take a special adopter to see past their cautious exteriors to the bundle of looove underneath.
