Aslan looks just like his namesake, Aslan the magnificiant lion in "The Chronicles of Narnia". He has a handsome head and a regal carriage. His fur is buff - it looks solid gold - like a lion, except for a few faint tan tabby stripes on his tail. He has big, dark eyes that look directly at you.

Aslan is such a big softie, his foster mother has nicknamed him "Buffy", for his buff colour. He may look and act as dignified as the "king of beasts", but he's really a marshmallow. He has made an amazing adjustment in a very short time to his new home, which is a testament to just how mellow he is and his easy-going personality. When he was a mostly outdoor cat out in the country, he kept getting beaten up by other cats, so when he came to his foster home, he had to learn how to "play well with others" - and he has. He gets along with his foster siblings and has met many new humans - all of whom have been charmed by his elegance and friendliness. Until now, the only human who had had contact with him or been kind to him was his rescuer. He is learning to play - no one had played with him before. Aslan loves affection and being held and sleeps with his foster mother and other kitties. He would be a wonderful addition to any home and deserves the best!
