All About Me

Blythe has a short cream-colored coat with rich seal-point coloration around her face, ears, tail and feet.

Blythe starts purring as soon as you reach towards her. With big ears and even bigger ocean-blue eyes, she is infinitely curious about what is going on around her. She's also quite tactile. She loves to reach out and touch your hand when you pet her, she touches your legs when you stand near her and she touches your cheek when you bend your head down to kiss her. No claws are involved, and she doesn't bat what she's reaching for around. She has a feather touch and she just likes making a connection. She has a wild side too, though. She's the queen of the raised-back, puffy tail sideways hop to try to incite playfulness in her siblings. Her exuberance is insuppressible and it's usually focused on her best buddy and brother, Antonio. These two are totally attached and can't imagine not going together to the same adoptive home. Blythe is FIV/FeLV negative and litterbox trained. She is ready for Pre-Adoption.

History

Blythe and her siblings, Antonio, Beauregard and Madeline were born in a stack of hay bales in a barn in rural North Carolina. They were scooped up at an early age by volunteers who were working with the farm owner to spay and neuter all the felines on the property. They quickly adjusted from the country life to an urban existence and are now relieved that instead of driving for miles to buy groceries, they can just wander into the kitchen and find their favorite meal.
