Hemingway is a little cat although he is a full-grown adult. He has white feet and paws. He has extra toes on his front feet so he looks like he is wearing mittens - very cute!
Hemingway LOVES other cats! He is very nocturnal so he sleeps most of the day. Around dinner time he wakes up and then he is just a bundle of energy. He plays with his foster sister cat, but never too rough. He will roll around in your lap for hours letting you pet him and purring. You will wonder how such a small cat can purr so loud! Hemingway does startle at loud noises and you need to let him come to you. After a few minutes to be sure he is safe, he gets along fine with kids. He does not care one way or the other about dogs. He is very happy being indoors.

Hemingway was rescued when a volunteer heard a neighbor telling people he was shooting stray cats on his property. Hemingway was the only survivor, and he is still a little jumpy and skittish when he hears loud noises. He adjusted well to life as an indoor kitty and was in very good health for having lived outdoors all his life. We named him Hemingway because, like Hemingway's famous cats, he has six toes on his front paws. He will make a great friend for just about any family!
