As evidenced by Thomas's size, the old man's greatest joy was feeding the boys. As it happens, Thomas loves to eat, making his transition to a new place easier than it has been for his thinner brother. The two tabbies are handsome book-ends, one brown tabby, the other ginger -- with identical socks on their substantial feet. Besides eating he enjoys being groomed, grooming his brother, sitting by his foster mom as she works. Thomas is very nurturing and kind towards Oscar.
