All About Me

Casper is an all white kitten with green eyes.

Casper's right front leg is paralyzed. He uses it to play and walk. Cats can do well with this condition if housed on carpet. Any surgery required (such as amputation) will be covered by Independent Animal Rescue even following adoption. And cats do well 3 legged, even a front leg.

This cat can purr! He is a dose of happiness waiting to happen. Casper loves string, and the usual toys, but he especially loves kisses and looking into your eyes. His favorite spot is your lap, but he is most agreeable to being moved if needed. All around, he is a playful and gentle kitten who would love to be part of your family. He wants you to know that his special leg doesn't slow him down at all! He can climb cat towers, jump on the couches, get in and out of litter boxes.

He gets along well with other foster kittens, but isn't sure he likes dogs but can probably learn to get along with one, especially one without a strong prey drive.

Best Friends

Casper would be especially happy to find a home with another cat from his foster home:

History

Casper was found as a stray with a leg injury and taken to a local shelter. Independent Animal Rescue took him as we knew we could provide him the love and veterinary care needed.

Health

Casper is in excellent health with the exception of the front right leg. IAR will cover surgery by either IAR's veterinarian or a local veterinarian if needed in the future. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormings, and has been neutered, microchipped and is ready for his new lap!
