Pete is a plush brown tabby with a thick black stripe down his back. He has lovely markings and big golden eyes.

Pete was found outside several months ago and has adapted very well to being an indoor kitty. His nickname is "the mayor" because he gets along well with everyone in his foster home. Pete is a peacemaker. He plays with 2 younger kitties and likes to tussle and chase and pounce or he is quite content to sit and groom and cuddle with an older female kitty in his foster home. Pete is quite fond of the medium sized dog he lives with too! He likes to rub on him and tries to snuggle up to him. Petey enjoys back of the sofa bird watching and also playing with fuzzy mice toys, the crinkle tunnel, batting a piece of cumpled-up paper around. Pete likes to cuddle on the sofa with his foster family and he also likes to sleep on the bed with his people. On cold nights, he tunnels under the covers! Petey is slightly talkative, mainly just at dinner time. He has perfect litter box manners and is very easy to have around. Pete would love to be adopted into a home with another kitty as a companion or even a cat friendly dog. he is a great little cat!
