Quincey is a big hound with such a friendly face. His light golden-brown eyes shine with affection. His thick, velvety coat is a reddish brown with swaths of freckles over the white parts. He has a bushy tail and big ears.
Quincey is such a sweetheart, very friendly and affectionate. He is a little shy at first but will soon just want to curl up on the couch next to you with his head in your lap, or at your feet if there's no room on the couch. Interestingly, he doesn't give big sloppy kisses or any kisses, for that matter. He's calm in the house, especially considering how young he is. Sometimes he chases his tail. It's adorable. He stands pretty tall, making it easy to pet his head. His ears are warm and velvety. It's impossible to not tug on them a bit, which he tolerates with aplomb.
On the other hand, when he gets outside, he loves to go go go. Do you want a walking or running buddy? Quincey's your guy. He is somewhat submissive around other dogs he knows, while still exhibiting a healthy dose of playfulness. He gets excited when he sees new dogs on his walks. But with some redirection he's starting to handle those moments a little more gracefully.
Quincey sleeps all through the night and is doggy-door-house-trained. He is comfortable in his crate, often choosing to go there for a nap. He has a big bark when someone knocks on the door or if they have the gaul to walk past the house, especially with another dog. But he does settle down again pretty quickly. All-in all, he's just a big, friendly terrific fellow: a 70-pound cuddlebug.
