Moa is a short-haired orange tabby boy with striking aquamarine eyes and a distinct V pattern on his forehead.
Moa is one of four newborn kittens rescued with nursing mom Kiwi. The Kiwi Kittens were fostered with their mom until they weaned, and now they’re healthy and independent and ready for their forever homes.
Moa is the Maori name for a giant flightless bird which used to inhabit the islands of New Zealand. Kitten Moa IS the biggest boy in his litter: he would eat ALL the wet food if we didn’t set aside some for his smaller siblings. But we wouldn’t call him flightless! This little fellow is light on his feet and scales the highest kitten tower with ease.
Moa does great with the dogs, young adult cats, and teenagers in his foster home. He and little sister Korimako are a bonded pair and they hope to find a loving home together.
