All About Me

Casseopia is a gorgeous silver/gray tabby with white accents. Her tabby markings are of bull's eye type, with a perfect silver swirl on each side of her body. She is sure to have Siamese origins with her long and lean lines, wedge-shaped head, and slightly crossed eyes (gold, not blue).

Casseopia is a gorgeous and super social young cat. Cassie and Aurora Borealis were adopted last fall by a wonderful family who now have to give them up because they are moving overseas. The cats have been happily living with an active family with kids, and are very polite house cats. If you consider adopting Cassie, you should probably enjoy having a cat in your personal space. Although she is happy to play with her cat friend, she really loves people and is very outgoing, even with strangers. When she wants attention, she will jump repeatedly in your lap even if politely discouraged. She seeks out contact with her humans by rubbing her face against yours and happily gives nose kisses if encouraged. She loves to sit in your lap for a while between play sessions. Cassie is spayed, litter trained and has tested negative for FELV and FIV. She is ready to find her person or family. She will do well in a home with kids or another kitten or cat friend- but she would be equally happy to have a quiet situation where she can be loved by herself.

History

Casseopia was rescued as a 5 week old kitten in June 2010 after her litter was discarded at a landfill. Cassie and her siblings were dehydrated and sunbleached when rescued- she thrived in foster care and she has never looked back. Initially adopted last fall by a wonderful family, she is now looking for a family again because these great folks are moving overseas. Cassie has been living indoors with kids and another cat, and remains healthy and happy.
