All About Me

NutMeg looks much like a brown tabby with white belly and paws, except that she has lovely tortie patches of orange mixed in. Can you see her freckles?

NutMeg got her name because the nickname Meggie just seemed to fit her cutie pie face and her petite stature. But, then we got to know her and realized that the name was perfect, not because she is a perfect 'Meggie', but because she is a perfect 'Nut'. Our NutMeg knows that because she is the littlest 'Spice Girl' she can get into all kinds of trouble and her foster mom is likely to blame it on one of her bigger sisters. She can not resist the toys and continues playing long after her sisters have fallen asleep. She is often to be found blinking her eyes and listing to the side as she tries desperately not to fall asleep leaning over her water bowl. Meggie is a champion purrer, especially when her foster mom lets her perch up high on her shoulder while she walks around the house.

History

NutMeg and her sisters Ginger and Saffron were pulled out of an overcrowded shelter with their friend Bosley. Their fat bellies and their brave and friendly purrsonalities suggest that they spend their first weeks with a well-fed mama and a lot of human attention.
