Meet Mae!
Mae is a beautiful 2-year-old girl with a sweet, loving intelligent nature and is learning the joys of being a treasured family member.

Mae has a nice balance of medium energy and relaxed companionship. Her perfect day includes walks around the neighborhood or a trail hike, lots of affection, and plenty of opportunities to simply be by your side. A securely fenced yard would be ideal, giving Mae space to stretch her legs, enjoy the sunshine, and show off some adorable zoomies.

She is house-trained, accepts treats nicely, rides well in the car, and is making great progress with basic commands like "sit" and "stay" and walking calmly on a leash. Her favorite chew toys include rope tugs (where she can happily tear apart), frozen Kongs filled with peanut butter (or anything yummy) and beef marrow bones.

Mae currently takes medication to help her feel more relaxed when left alone and will need a family who understands the value of slow transitions, patience, and a consistent routine. She will thrive best in a home environment where people are around much of the time as she becomes comfortable in her new home.

Mae is both dog-friendly and cat-friendly, cohabiting peacefully with an energetic dog and two cats. She would love to have a canine and/or feline sibling or two but will also be fine as an only dog.

With her sweet spirit, affectionate heart, Mae’s new family will be rewarded with loyal companionship, happy adventures, endless cuddles, and the special joy of watching a deserving dog learn what it means to be truly cherished.

Mae is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and preventives, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Physical
Mae has a beautiful tri-colored coat of white, black, and tan, with dreamy brown eyes that reflect her sweet personality.

Group classes for puppies and adult dogs as well as private training sessions are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
