All About Me

PROFILE
Ghost is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and will surely steal your heart! He is laid back and very well mannered. He will not jump up on you. We are looking for an adult-only home.

He takes treats very gently and likes to eat while lying down. He's great on a leash and loves to go for walks. Ghost is house-trained and crate-trained, and will go in the crate on command and sleeps overnight there without a sound.

Ghost does well with other dogs, but he would likely be fine as an only dog. He has not been tested with cats, but as huskies tend to have a strong prey drive, he may not do well with cats or other small animals.

Ghost is looking for a large fenced yard where he can run and play. Huskies are known to be escape artists, so the fence needs to be at least 6 feet tall. They also often dig, so a fence would need to regularly be checked for holes where he could possibly get out. Ghost currently does not have access to a fenced yard. So we do not know if he would be likely to escape, but it's always best to take precautions. He adores going for long walks, so we're also looking for an adopter who is active.

PHYSICAL
Ghost is white with golden highlights on his ears, neck and down his back. His fluffy white tail often curls over his back.

HEALTH
Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.

HISTORY
Ghost had been lost for over 3 months. He traveled many miles during that time, then thankfully he was finally caught. However, Ghost's family decided they did not want him back; and he was taken to a rural county animal shelter.
