All About Me

Spike is bonded to another cat and would like to be adopted together. Please check his Best Friends section.

Because Spike is younger than 6 months of age, it is IAR policy that he must be adopted with another kitten or into a household with a young cat (general guideline of 2 years or younger but on a case by case basis).

Spike came from a rough beginning at a scrap yard, but his caretaker wanted him and his siblings to have a chance at a better life. Spike has blossomed in foster care, but is still a little shy and needs to be adopted with his brother Murphy, who runs head-first into new adventures.

Spike loves to play! He will chase his brother and his toys for hours, and still has the energy to "help" his foster mom with sweeping and scooping the litter boxes. He loves his brother and the older cats in his foster home, but benefits from a little patience when encountering new people and situations.

All IAR cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.
