Meet Melba! Melba is a petite (only 27 pounds) beagle mix.

If you're looking for a lap dog, you've come to the right place! Melba is a people-dog who wants to be with her humans. She loves to be petted, and when she's comfortable with you, she likes to give kisses too!

Melba is a smaller and middle-aged dog, but she's strong and active! She likes to entertain herself by playing with her toys and looking out the windows to people-watch. She also enjoys taking long walks, and she does well on a leash. Melba is both crate-trained and house-trained. In her downtime, you can catch her relaxing, sleeping on a soft blanket, or playing with a chew toy.

Melba responds well to commands and is a quick learner. She knows Sit, Stay, Down, No, Crate, Roll over, Spin, and Fetch. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!? She really isn't an old dog, though--she's more like a young dog but with incredible manners!
