Chatty, sweet, social, affectionate—that's Rufus!
Rufus was found as a stray wandering Durham and ended up at the county shelter. The shelter environment overwhelmed and frightened this sensitive boy, so staff sent out a call for help. A foster home was secured through IAR, and Rufus has been able to relax and show off his personality.
Rufus adores being close to people and spending time with them. He will be your loyal companion who never strays far from your side.
Rufus does need to be the only pet in the home, as he has no desire to share his space with another cat or dog. He can be unsure of himself in new situations, but once he gets to know you, you'll be best friends!
