Because Maribel is younger than 6 months of age, it is IAR policy that she must be adopted with another kitten or into a household with a young cat (general guideline of 2 years or younger but on a case by case basis).

Maribel was found inside a car engine after being orphaned when her momma was hit by a car when she was about 3 weeks old. The fire Department showed up and helped to remove her and 4 other kittens from the engine and that is how she arrived at IAR. Maribel is a charming and confident kitten with an inquisitive spirit and a playful, loving personality. She approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm, always eager to explore her surroundings and discover something new.

While she enjoys playtime and adventure, Maribel is equally happy snuggling up with her people. She loves being part of the family and likes to stay close, following her favorite humans from room to room and keeping them company throughout the day. She also really loves the resident dogs in her foster home.

With her affectionate nature and delightful personality, Maribel would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.
