Hello world, my name is Melon! I've lived most of my life outside and used to be terrified of people, but my foster dads have slowly acquainted me with the joys of indoor living and the perks of being a house cat. Regular meals? Affection on tap? Cozy spots to sleep all over the house?? Amazing!

I never knew how nice life could be, and now I'm pretty comfortable around people as long as they approach me with care and confidence. I think I would need an experienced human to manage me and keep pushing my boundaries as a social girl. I sometimes demand pets, and will come rub against you and fall asleep by your side... but if you pet me wrong, I might hit you. Sorry.

I do great with other cats, and also don't mind dogs. Hyper, bigger dogs kinda freak me out and might get a good smack if they test my personal space, but I'll tolerate them. I've never met human children and imagine they might be a little too touchy for my tastes, but I'm not opposed to kids I guess!

Otherwise, I'm a healthy, happy kitty who just needs some special attention and reinforcement to keep a confident and social demeanor. Please let me and my dads know if you think you might have a forever home for me! I'd love to meet you.
