Lady Twila has had a difficult start in life, but she is ready for a new chapter filled with love, patience, and security. She began as a homeless outdoor kitty who had a litter of kittens while still very young. After raising her babies, they were adopted into loving homes, and Twila was spayed and placed on a farm. Unfortunately, she was expected to survive on her own and find her own food, which left her scared and struggling.

Thankfully, Twila found her way to a kind person who helped get her into foster care, where she has learned what it means to be safe and loved. She is now proudly an indoor-only kitty and is ready for a forever home where she can continue to thrive.

Twila is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves nighttime cuddles, relaxing in her cat tree, and enjoying a little catnip. She is curious, talkative, and loves being around her people. Like many cats who have experienced uncertainty, she can become overstimulated by sudden movements or loud environments, so she is looking for a special home with adults only, a cat-savvy person, and someone who understands the importance of patience and letting her build trust at her own pace.

Twila can do well with other cats as long as they are respectful and not aggressive. She is a loving, gentle soul who has so much affection to give. She has already overcome so much and just needs someone willing to give her the safe, happy life she deserves.
