All About Me

Because Drusilla is younger than 6 months of age, it is IAR policy that she must be adopted with another kitten or into a household with a young cat (general guideline of 2 years or younger but on a case by case basis).

Drusilla, named after a vampire from the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is a one of-a-kind, sweet black kitten. She is long and lanky, and has one white whisker. Once she trusts you, she will really love you, purring immediately in your presence and leaning her body into you in the sweetest way. She is fearless and loves wrestling with her brother Spike, and also enjoys one-on-one playtime with a human.

Drusilla has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, (CH) otherwise known as “wobbly cat syndrome”, which means that the part of her brain that controls balance and coordination never fully developed. This doesn't stop her from running up to you and rubbing on your legs when you arrive home.
Her CH is quite mild, it just causes her to walk like a dog with shoes on, and she doesn't always land on her feet, which I think makes her extra charming.
Her adopters need to make sure she does not have access to stairs that she could fall down.
She has no trouble using the litter box and is completely litter box trained.
CH doesn't require any medication and is not painful or contagious.

All IAR cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.
