All About Me

Hamilton’s fur is a grayish-silver (although it looks black in photos), with mostly brown markings and a smattering of white. He has brown eyes, large paws, and ears that stick straight up.

Hamilton loves being around people and other dogs! He is very sweet, curious, and playful. He particularly loves tug of war and fetch. And after 30 to 45 minutes of playing he likes to snuggle up with me or lie down on his bed for a nap. Hamilton is potty-trained and we’re working on crate-training. He is smart and quickly learned Sit. His beautiful, bright eyes seem to be able to stare directly into your soul! He is sometimes clumsy, which is endearing. Hamilton is a loyal friend and is looking to join a loving family or individual.

Health

Hamilton is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He has a neurological issue that affects his back legs. He has had X-rays, but the vets have not been able to identify the problem. It’s only evident when he stands still on slippery surfaces such as vinyl and hardwood floors (see picture of him standing with his back legs crossed). He does not appear to be in any pain, and is able to walk and run normally.

History

Hamilton came from a local shelter.
