Penny Worth is a little cutie who is white with tan markings. She has perky ears and a bit of curly hair between her shoulders. She's on a slimming regimen, as she is a bit of a chunky monkey!
Penny Worth is the daughter of little Mary Worth (pictured). They have so much fun together, and, because they are bonded, will need to be adopted together. Penny is a sweet and loving little girl who will flip onto her back for belly rubs. She knows how to spin around to get a treat and knows how to go into her crate. A little shy, with affection she has become loving and gets along great with the resident dogs. They are easy-peasy and housebroken with a consistent routine.
Penny Worth is in good health (other than needing to lose some pounds), and is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed. She is getting ointment for a corneal ulcer.
Penny Worth and her mother, Mary Worth, came from a local shelter.
IAR subsidizes post-adoption professional training with Jane Marshall (www.cheerydogs.com) to encourage a life-long and successful bond between the dog and the adopter. Group classes for puppies and adult dogs are provided at a substantial discount to IAR adopters.
