All About Me

PERSONALITY & BEHAVIORS
Bailey May is beautiful and energetic, and can also be very calm. Although often excited when first meeting other dogs, she quickly settles down after a proper introduction. Bailey would love to share her adoptive home with a low-key dog!

She has been adjusting nicely to a couch-potato life in her foster home, which includes several cats and a foster canine pal. The cats don't particularly interest Bailey--well, unless they run. . . A wonderful car companion, she adores going on adventures large and small! She is house-trained and won't bother any of your belongings.

Also crate-trained, when the door is open she will disappear in it for naps and to watch the kitties, and is very patient about being in there when it's closed. Squeaky and tug toys are her favorites, and she loves to play fetch. Whatever her doggie foster sister wants, Bailey wants (mainly squeaky toys!), although she shares well. She follows her foster sister around in the yard, they pee in the same places together, and Baily helps her be calm.

She is good on a leash and does not pull very hard. She has a prey drive when on walks, so the walker needs to be attentive, and Baily should not be left unattended in a fenced area with small animals (bunnies, cats, or smaller creatures).

This lovely, sweet dog can't wait to find her special new home!

PHYSICAL
Bailey May has a merle patterned coat--thus her name! Her fur is black, gray, and white speckled, and her ears usually are either flat down or straight up.

HEALTH
Bailey May is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative.

HISTORY
Bailey May was rescued in a rural county by a Good Samaritan.
