Olive is a very smart kitten who got herself into our program by hanging out under my father-in-law's deck, poking her head out and calling for attention to anyone who would listen. She has always known the value of humans and fully embraces the indoor life. She expresses her joy and gratitude through vigorous play, rolling on her back and exposing her tender little belly, and flirting with the dog through and under the glass door that separates their spaces. She is quite the fearless temptress when it comes to the dog!

Her best friend is Martini ("Teeny"), her sister-from-another-mother. Although they have different energy levels (Olive is way more likely to pounce on your toes), they play well together and are often found napping together in their plush cube.

She would do well in any household--she loves to play, but is always gentle and does not bite or use her claws. She has no problem with the other cats she's met, and she is the only cat in my house to even want to be near the dog.
