All About Me

PROFILE
Watch out! Egbert will steal your heart--and possibly your seat on the sofa! Egbert is a gentle old soul who enjoys sitting for treats, curling up for a nap, cuddling, and watching the world go by out the window. He doesn't bark, and the loudest he gets is when sighing before a lie-down or mumbling in his sleep. He is eager to please and is a quiet, loyal companion. He loves having his ears scratched.

"Eggy" is crate-trained and needs potty breaks every four hours. He sleeps through the night in his crate without incident. With these needs and his arthritis, it is best that he can remain on the ground floor with easy access to the outdoors and no more than two steps. Eggy is gentle with his foster mom's cat, just observing. Most content near his humans, he is curious about other dogs and likes to watch them play.

PHYSICAL
Egbert has a primarily white coat, one jaunty black ear, and a wide smile.

HEALTH
Egbert is partially deaf, but responds to loud calls. He is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, and is taking Carprofen and Cosequin for his arthritis. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.

HISTORY
Egbert was found as a stray and surrendered to a local shelter.
