Physical: Mellie is a very attractive small hound mix with a white, brown and black coat.
Profile: Mellie enjoys being with us, sleeping on the couch and spending time in the yard. She enjoys her doggie friends when they come to play, but she does need a secure fenced as the hound in her sometimes wants to follow her nose past the fence to see if there is something appealing on the other side! Watch her video of Mellie's gay abandon while playing with her doggie friend.
She is good on the leash and enjoys walking in the neighborhood.
Mellie likes the cats in her foster home and tries to play with them but resigns herself to the fact they may only want to curl up with her - lazy old things that they are!
She would do best in quiet home with few visitors. She is always kind but a little scared.
