All About Me

PHYSICAL
Pumpkin Pie is mostly light brown with a black muzzle and eyeliner, long floppy ears, and assorted white patches (on his face, chest, and toes).

PROFILE
Pumpkin Pie is the sweetest, cutest, most affectionate little lap puppy you ever did meet!

He has quickly adapted from his previous life outdoors to the many joys of indoor life--with a warm, cozy bed and great food! Pumpkin is still getting used to a world without his littermates and mom. So we are looking for an adopter who will be especially patient and understanding while leading him through this transition period and while continuing his training. As with any puppy, he needs a home where his people are around a good part of the day to tend to his needs.

He gets along very well in his foster home with the resident dogs and cats (check him out in the pics showing him spooning and on the couch surrounded by a couple of his new buddies!). Pumpkin likely would enjoy a doggie buddy who can help him build confidence and teach him doggie things as he grows up.

He greatly loves to be by his foster mom--and one of his favorite things is running around the fenced yard and then crashing onto her lap!

He LOVES treats, so that makes him easier to train. We are currently working on learning basic commands as well as crate- and house-training. He can be in the crate comfortably for about 3 hours and sleeps there through the night.

HEALTH
Pumpkin is up-to-date on preventatives, vaccinations and microchipped, and will be neutered when age-appropriate.

HISTORY
Pumpkin came into IAR with his siblings.
