All About Me

PHYSICAL
This handsome fellow has a reddish brown coat with a tan face, eyebrows and legs. He has little white "socks" on his back feet and a white blaze on his chest. His eyes are amber. He has a lean build with long, velvety, hound ears.

PROFILE
Clancey is a wonderful dog in every way! He is a bright, happy, friendly boy who just wants to please. He certainly has some of that playful, puppy energy but he's also fairly calm. He loves cuddling on the couch and going for walks and long runs. He's pretty good on the leash, and learning to not pull at all. In the house he's content to be chewing on his Nyla bones and napping in his crate with the door open.

Clancey loves meeting people of all sizes and other dogs. He shows interest in cats though it doesn't seem inappropriate and he is not at all interested in chasing squirrels. He also does not seem to be much of an "alert" dog as when the other two dogs in his foster home bark at passers by or a knock on the door, Clancey does not.

Clancey is a very fast learner! He quickly learned commands to sit, come, go in the crate and not to jump. He is crate trained and also quickly became housetrained (in a house with a dog door and fenced-in yard).

HEALTH
Clancey is up-to-date on vaccinations, preventatives, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative.

HISTORY
Clancey came into IAR from a local shelter.
