Callie would love to be your new cat companion! This girl is a gorgeous calico with emerald green eyes and a bold but sweet and calm personality.

Callie is a confident girl who knows what she likes. IAR stepped up to help Callie find a new home after her original owner passed away from Covid in 2020. She loves everyone she meets, but does seem to be smitten over male humans and find comfort with them... we believe this is because her owner of 12 years was a man who loved her dearly and doted over her daily.

In her foster home, Callie loves to hang out with her foster parent while he works, lounge in the sunny window, bird watch, play with her spiral ribbon wand toy, and nap!
Nap in her comfy bed, nap on the comfy chair, nap on the cool floor, nap in the comfy human bed, or nap on the kitchen chairs.
Callie is content doing whatever it may be that you are doing.

She tolerates other cats but we believe she would love to have a new home with no other cats as changes are not easiest for her these days. There are dogs in her foster home which she has grown to understand they are no threat to her. A home with a senior dog or calm dogs that are not cat-reactive would do best for her.

Callie is in great health and fully vetted; including recent senior lab work, as well as a dental cleaning and dental work to remove some teeth that were causing her discomfort.
