All About Me

Meet Durham — Your Next Best Friend!
Durham is a lovable goofball with a big heart and a charming personality to match. Thanks to his devoted foster, he’s already picked up great manners and is ready to settle into a forever home where he can keep shining.

We’re looking for an adopter who:
✨ Can offer a steady, structured routine
✨ Is consistent with expectations — Durham does best when he knows the rules
✨ Will continue crating him when unsupervised (he’s already crate-trained for up to 6 hours and does great with it!)

About Durham:
🐶 Super friendly with people and other dogs — and he takes treats like a true gentleman
🐶 Well-behaved at the vet and a pro for nail trims
🐶 Fully vetted: up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative
🐶 A social media star after an awesome doggy day out in downtown Durham
🐶Enjoys socializing and being outside with the other dogs at dog daycare
🐶 Calm and relaxed in the car — he happily rides in the back seat and never tries to hop up front
🐶 Is unbothered by thunder or rain and will happily go out to do his business or even go for a walk
🐶 Knows a bunch of useful cues like "sit," "down," "come," "place," and "heel" — and keeps getting better!

Durham’s also learning to chill around friendly strangers and stay in place calmly, even in busy environments. Want to see him in action? Check out his training videos — they speak for themselves!

Durham is a truly special dog who’s ready for the next chapter. With a little structure and a lot of love, he’ll make an incredible companion. If you're looking for a dog who's already well on his way, Durham might just be your perfect match.
